Foundational pillars for your overall well-being: Ayurvedic practices to support your body + nervous system

As we spiral into winter, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to actually feel WELL — not just “okay,” not just “getting through the day,” but actually vibrant, grounded, and connected in your body and your life.
Ayurveda has been one of my greatest teachers in this.
I get asked all the time, what exactly is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda comes from the Sanskrit words ayus (life) and veda (science), translating to “the science of life.” It’s a 5,000-year-old holistic system from India that weaves together mind, body, and spirit and teaches that many chronic imbalances can be prevented or reversed through our daily lifestyle choices (what modern science now calls epigenetics).
Over the next few weeks and months, I’ll be sharing simple tools and practices to support each pillar of Ayurvedic well-being:
Sleep – circadian rhythm and how to support restorative sleep
Nutrition – nourishing your body with optimal nutrition for your body type (dosha)
Movement – keeping energy and lymph flowing
Mindfulness & Meditation – finding peace and stillness within the mind
Emotional + Nervous System Health – building inner steadiness
Healthy Relationships – the people who shape our well-being
Environment & Community – the spaces that hold us
Laughter, Joy & Spiritual Connection – the spark that keeps us alive inside
These are the rhythms that help us feel rooted, resilient, and abundant — no matter the season of life we’re in.
I’m so excited to take you deeper into each one these pillars!
I’m also working on some new creations, offerings, and resources — and my newsletter subscribers (that's you!) will be the very first to know (yay)! :-)
